From Chihuahua, Mexico, Luis Luján, possesses a background in Environmental Science and Artistic Education. His practice focuses on exploring themes of displacement, networks of humanitarian action, and community-based art.
Founding member of Uno de Siete Migrando, a human rights organization dedicated to accompanying migrants and responsible for opening the Casa del Migrante Chihuahua shelter. He is co-founder of the MeFo educational project in Chihuahua and coordinator of the Social Engagement Photography Program (PFIS). He has been awarded scholarships and prizes in the field of artistic production and has exhibited his work in Mexico, Brasil, Argentina, Spain, France, and the Netherlands, both in solo and group exhibitions.
He is part of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA).
